ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth across our investments and projects portfolio we are looking to hire a Multi Skilled Tradesperson into the Corbenyah Properties team in Lytham.

Our small but highly skilled team works to complete a range of inhouse projects including renovations, refurbishments, commercial business and office space fit outs, general maintenance across a portfolio of holiday and residential property lettings amongst others.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in a number of trades and have a strong background working in a variety of 1st and 2nd fix projects both in domestic and commercial environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are interested in candidates who have good all round skills in some of the following; bricklaying, joinery, plumbing, plastering, tiling, floor laying, painting and decorating, general groundworks and landscaping etc.

Most importantly, we are looking for a reliable, adaptable individual who has a positive work ethic and an ability to effectively collaborate with site leads, skilled trades people and 3rd party contractors. The right person will have a focus on maintaining a presentable, clean and tidy work environment at all times. To be successful you will need to be a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring all work is completed to highest quality work and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

EXPERIENCE:

Ideally 5 years of experience as a tradesperson with demonstrated skills in multiple trades.
Not mandatory but any relevant qualifications in electrical, plumbing, carpentry work etc are beneficial
Strong knowledge of health and safety in the workplace

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Physically fit and the able to lift and move heavy materials safely and operate at heights or confined spaces
Familiar with safe and correct use of power hand tools and various equipment
Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or take charge of a project

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CSCS Card (desirable but not essential, we can help you achieve this)
Full Driving License and own Vehicle required (essential)
Own tools required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Core working hours are Mon-Fri however evening and weekend work may be offered where necessary to accommodate site accessibility and to complete projects to agreed timescales.
The role may require working outdoors, in varying weather conditions.
Willingness to travel around the Fylde region and the North West and own transport essential
Own tools required
